This year’s Art & Talent show, hosted by Dubuque Senior’s Student council, took place on Thursday, March 14th.  The audience was able to walk around a set up gallery and check out the amazing art pieces made by students. The Art gallery showcased 50 different pieces (paintings, drawings, sculptures, photography, etc.) done by students.

True Mills and Gabe Vander Broek were the Emcees for the talent show performances. There were 21 different acts throughout the night with a 15-minute intermission in-between to allow the crowd to get some yummy concessions.

These acts consisted of singing, dancing, drums, instrumental bands, improv, and one surprise act.  The act was a band made up of some of Dubuque Senior’s faculty! They played a song in honor of all the beloved faculty retiring this year.

This year’s Talent show Judge’s choice winner was Kate Miron’s performance on the drums playing to “Heavydirtysoul” by Twenty-One Pilots.

The crowd’s choice-winner was Amiya Rodgers performance of singing “I Can’t Help Falling in Love with You” by Elvis Presley.
