Baskets of Thanksgiving meal products are being requested by the Dubuque Senior Giving Room.

If you are interested in donating, the following items are requested to be brought in a laundry basket. The basket would make carrying items easy and also be useful after the food is gone.

Requested food items are:

1 – canned ham

1 – box of stuffing mix

1 – box of instant potatoes

2 – boxes macaroni and cheese

2 – cans of yams

1 – bag of brown sugar

1 – bag of marshmallows

2 – cans of green beans

1 – can of cream of mushroom soup

1 – container French fried onions

2 – cans of corn

1 –  can of cranberry sauce

2 – packets or jars of gravy

1 – box of cornbread mix

1 – dessert mix (brownies, pie shell and mixture, cake mix, etc.)

2 – packets of jell-o/dessert gelatin mix

Optional – iced tea, bottled juice, hot cocoa mix

Optional – disposable plates, utensils, napkins, paper towels, foil pans

You can donate on your own or get together with a group of friends to put the basket together.

Please deliver baskets to the main office. Baskets will be collected by November 20th.
