Still on the scholarship hunt?

While some scholarship applications do require quite a bit of work, there are some easier ones

Seniors, are you still looking for scholarships? If so, you have arrived at the right place! Even as the school year is rapidly approaching its conclusion, there are still a wide variety of scholarship opportunities available to apply for. You just need to know where to look!

Applying to more scholarships raises your chances of winning one. However, finding a mass number of scholarships you are eligible for can be a difficult process. Besides, many of those scholarships require huge essays and giant surveys to fill out, and oftentimes reference letters, as well. Sometimes you just need something a bit easier, right?

If you are on the lookout for a way that you can view and apply for a large group of scholarships at a time, then there are a couple of websites out there that could help you. Nitrocollege.com, for example, has a large array you can apply for if you make an account, as well as Niche.com. I personally use Bold.org.

All three of these websites are similar in design. They have a lot of scholarships that you can apply for, many of which are no-essay, and are typically up in the $1000s range in terms of money you will get from it. Bold.org is incredibly easy to use, and they add new scholarships regularly, meaning you can continue to apply for increased scholarships that you might not see otherwise.

There is also Scholarships.com, a website that has been around since 1999. Like the other websites in this article, they have a wide variety of scholarships available, including a multitude from other websites.

You can also find scholarships through the DSHS Counseling Center website in the “College and Career Planning” section. These scholarships do tend to require a some extra work.

Even if you are just now beginning to apply for scholarships, it is not too late for you to score some money. The options are out there, you just have to know where to look!
